Hi folks, my name is Erin and this is my writing journal! So I don't clog up my normal journal with a bunch of short writing stuffs for challenges or just for fun.

I'm a 21-year-old college student majoring in Creative Writing for my bachelor's, looking into education for my master's. My main genres are Sci-Fi/Fantasy and Romance, though I've dabbled in pretty much everything. I've participated in National Novel Writing Month four times and finished with 50,000+ words twice. I haven't written anything professionally yet, but I'm hopeful for the future. I've participated in some writers-only tournaments on DeviantArt with some success.

This is a warning that a lot of this stuff will probably be Friends Only, just because I'm slightly paranoid about someone coming and stealing all my ~*BRILLIANT*~ ideas. But for some folks who don't have LiveJournal, I'll leave some entries un-friended or unmark them for a short time for you to read. Send me a message here or an email if you want access, I am very flexable. :)

The first stuff I'll be working on is a list of 100 themes for short stories, focusing on central characters to be used in each story. My characters are Peter Halifax and Andie MacCutcheon, who some people may know by now. Hopefully I'll get enough about them across in the stories I post here, but those who know a little more about them may have more fun reading, I don't know. I have no plans for what I will write after (or even in between, perhaps!) but I think I'll just let this go where it wants to.
